41 sites in the city at risk

Forty one buildings that have been nominated for local heritage listing in the City of Adelaide by the Adelaide City Council. have recently been removed from the proposed amendments to Local Heritage listing by the Planning Minister, John Rau.

They include offices, shops and private dwellings, including sites such as the Star Grocery on Hindley Street, the former Adelaide Cordial Factory on Currie Street.  See more in the op-ed piece So much for the Vibrant City.
